My grandfather gave me a guitar when I was six. Though by my late teens, turning knobs had become more fun than practice. I went on to do a bachelor’s in audio engineering at LTU in Piteå, immersing myself in good equipment, high quality audio and wonderful people.
Then came an internship at legendary Svenska Grammofonstudion in Göteborg and I later worked a couple of years in a large commercial studio in Stockholm. There I produced over 400 mixes, 400 masters, and over 200 Dolby Atmos mixes. Now I work independently as Figueras Sound, live and in the studio.
I’m particular about the technical side. Every record gets my highest standard: warm, balanced and built to translate everywhere. Still I’m just as particular about the human side, technology should only help your art shine.
